All proposed equipment is subject to EHD approval [CRFC §114130]. <br />Obtain an insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br />number is 916-255-2501. <br />The exhaust hood must be constructed to meet the requirements of the California <br />Mechanical Code [CRFC §114149.1], <br />Refrigerator units must be mechanical units that use a compressor, flame, or <br />thermoelectric device, and include a mechanical thermostatic control that regulates <br />refrigerated blown air into an enclosed food storage area. [CRFC §113886] <br />Gas-fired equipment shall meet applicable ANSI standards [CRFC §114301 (d)] <br />Electrical appliances shall meet applicable Underwriters Laboratory (UL) standards. <br />[CRFC §114301 (d)] <br />Potable and wastewater tanks must be sloped to an outlet that ensures complete <br />drainage. [CRFC §114199] <br />Potable water tanks must have an air vent overflow that prevents flooding of interior of <br />MFPU.
