(ATC) for the former BP#172 property located at 7647
Pacific Avenue in Stockton (Site).
In the Report, ATC summarizes the installation of six (6) on-site air-sparge (AS) wells and two
(2) off-site monitoring wells, and the advancement of a soil boring in the vicinity of the former
waste oil underground storage tank (UST). The wells and borings were installed as follows:
Well/Boring Total Depth Screen Interval Groundwater Zone
ftb s
AS-2 60 55-60 Dee
AS-3 60 55-60 Dee
AS-4 60 55-60 Dee
AS-5 80 75-80 Deep
AS-6 80 _ 75-80 Dee
AS-7 80 75-80 Dee
MW-24 80 75-80 Dee
MW-25 40 25-40 Shallow
S B-2 20 -- --
ft bgs=feet below ground surface
Central Valley Water Board staff has the following comments:
1. In the Report, ATC recommends developing and surveying the newly installed
monitoring wells during 4th quarter 2017, and sampling the wells during the 4th quarter
2017 groundwater sampling event. Central Valley Water Board staff concurs with these
recommendations. As other Site wells have been surveyed using the National Geodetic
Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29), please make sure the newly installed wells are
surveyed to the same vertical datum.
KARL E.
