One can of Homax aerosol wall texture was observed in a dumpster <br /> near the maintenance shop. Terminal Manager Ray Magallanes removed the can from the dumpster, shook it, and stated <br /> that there was product remaining inside. He placed the aerosol can inside the shop for proper disposal. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: (e)A universal waste handler shall manage universal waste aerosol cans in a manner that <br /> prevents fire, explosion, and the unauthorized release of any universal waste or component of a universal waste to the <br /> environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately place all UW aerosol cans into closed, structurally sound containers with labeling: <br /> "universal waste - aerosol cans".
