Including but not limited to; <br />screwdrivers, pliers, sockets, and/or various other hand and power tools. The facility (las appropriately <br />secured areas where MRSH is processed, stored, labeled and accumulated away from heavily trafficked <br />areas and unauthorized persons, <br />kantples ofspecific MRSH removal include but are not limited too <br />• Freon (and other refrigeration material) is identified by visual identification and label attached to <br />ill remove refrigerant gasses at aur facilit <br />the unit. Drums arc then labeled, stored, <br />and handled as hazardous waste and sent for proper disposal <br />Capacitors and/or ballasts are identified by visual inspection. Every employee responsible for <br />removal of such items is trained to identify the location of ballasts and capacitors on various <br />units. All capacitors and ballasts are assumed to be PCB/DEI-IP unless the label specifically Mates <br />no PCB's. Capacitors and ballasts are separated, packed and labeled and managed as hazardous <br />waste. Many of the tools used are the same as those for the oils mentioned previously. <br />• For mercury containing devices, employees are trained to identify the location of these and <br />remove them safely from the different types of appliances. Various tools are used for <br />identification and removal of these items. Some of these being a magnet lir identification <br />purposes and a range of hand tools used for removal, In the instance a switch was to break, (lie <br />site is equipped with a mercury spill kit in order to contain and clean up the spill, Once the items <br />are removed they are packed, labeled, and stored in poly containers and these mercury items are <br />then handled as hazardous waste appropriately: <br />Storage and Disposition of Waste <br />Hazardous Materials removed from the various appliances are all packaged and labeled according to all <br />materials may be stored within the MRSH processing, area in <br />county, state and federal regulations.
