Walk in cooler and walk in freezer must be drained by means of indirect waste <br />pipes discharged through an air gap into a floor sink. Provide air gap at least 1 inch off the floor sink. Correct in 1 week. <br />**** There is an existing floor sink inside the building, by the walk in cooler. **** <br />****All ice machines and bins, food preparation sinks, ware washing sinks (dishwashing units), display cases and refrigeration <br />units, and any other food service equipment which discharges liquid waste, shall be drained by means of indirect waste pipes <br />discharged through an air gap into a floor sink or other approved waste receptor. All floor sinks are to be positioned to be <br />readily cleanable, accessible for inspections, and must be flush with finished floor. Do not place floor sinks inside walk in <br />refrigeration units or cabinets [CRFC §114193 and §114193.1].**** <br />Back hand sink has very weak hot and cold water pressure from faucet. Provide adequate water pressure from faucet today. <br />Front hand sink has weak hot water pressure from faucet. Provide adequate water pressure from faucet. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The potable water supply shall be protected with a backflow or back siphonage protection device, as <br />required by applicable plumbing codes. (114192) All plumbing and plumbing fixtures shall be installed in compliance with local <br />plumbing ordinances, shall be maintained so as to prevent any contamination, and shall be kept clean, fully operative, and in good <br />repair. Any hose used for conveying potable water shall be of approved materials, labeled, properly stored, and used for no other <br />purpose. All <br />floor surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is <br />easily cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in <br />original unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
