If filler press bites require disposal, a minimum of two Operators shall assist with the <br /> disposal. A11 Operators shall proceed with extreme caution and care while working around <br /> the forklift_ <br /> 3, The filter Press Sludge is consider+ad hazardous waste,and thus all appropriate PPE shall <br /> be worn when hand ling and transferring filter press sludge, iinelud ing: <br /> a. Clean Dubber Gloves <br /> b. Protective clothing (overalls, work-beats) <br /> c. N95 Dust MaA <br /> d. Safely glasses <br /> 4. Operalor#1 will operate the forklift and remain in the fork]ift until completion of disposal_ <br /> The operator must hold a valid forklift operation cer if"scate. Operator #2 will assist the <br /> forklift driver with dumping the bin. <br /> 5_ Only one bin can be offloaded at a brae. Remove lid from bin and set adjacent to the unit, <br /> 6. The bin can be picked tip by the forklift by inscrtir3g each of the two Forks in the slots <br /> undemeath the bin. Once the forks are securely in place, the forklift can lift the bin and <br /> place over the slud ge durnpster. <br /> 7" After the bin is over the dumpster, Operator#2 can pull the bin release handlt under the <br /> bin on the forklift side. Use caution and ensure the area is clear as the bin is heavy and will <br /> slam down- <br /> S. Any remaining sludge in the bin can be scraped out with a shovel or hoses#off with water <br /> if necessary. Any spilled material on the ground shall be cleaned up inunediately u<ing dry <br /> pick-up methods, <br /> 9. Once bin is clean and empty, tilt back in place by pulling bin to the upright pasil ion. You <br /> will hear a clicking sound once the bin locks into place. Check to make sure the bin is <br /> lacked before moving again. <br /> 10. Place bin back vnd'e{j-xhe treatment unit and repeat these stepsfor thesecond bin.
