All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate <br />closure of the food facility. <br />#6 Handwashing Facilities Supplied and Accessible <br />OBSERVATIONS: Hand sinks, at wine tasting station and at the break room, have temporary paper rolls and soap bottles with <br />pump to wash hands. Provide soap and paper towels from dispensers mounted to the walls. Correct before operating. <br />*****Provide a complete hand washing station, with hot and cold water supplies, wall mounted fully enclosed single service hand <br />towel dispenser, wall mounted liquid or powder hand soap dispenser, immediately accessible from the food preparation area <br />[CRFC §113953 and .§113953.2].****** <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Handwashing soap and towels or drying device shall be provided in dispensers dispensers shall be <br />maintained in good repair. (113953.2) Adequate facilities shall be provided for hand washing, food preparation and the washing of <br />utensils and equipment. (113953, 113953.1, 114067(f)) <br />#21 Hot and Cold Potable Water Not Available <br />OBSERVATIONS: 3 comp sink and mop sink have temp at 117F and 116F respectively. Provide 120F or more before operating. <br />Non adjustable hand sink, in right rest room, has temp at 94F. Provide 100F - 108F before operating. Corrected on site. <br />Temp is now at 106F. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An adequate, protected, pressurized, potable supply of hot water and cold water shall be provided at all <br />times. (113953(c), 114099.2(b) 114101(a), 114189, 114192, 114192.1, 114195) <br />#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Open case cooler, located in the middle of the sales floor, has short legs less than 6 inches. Provide 6 <br />inches legs / provide coved (3/8 inch radius) metal sheet at this unit. Correct before operating. <br />Base around the mop sink and at the 3 comp sink, is not coved and not complying with codes. Provide proper coved base at <br />mop sink and 3 comp sink. Correct before operating. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All <br />floor surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is <br />easily cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in <br />original unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
