All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of the food facility. #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained OBSERVATIONS: The floors are not coved throughout the food trailer. Repair the floors so they are properly coved to the walls throughout the trailer. There is a gap between the wall and the covering near the front door of the trailer. Eliminate the gap so it is smooth and cleanable. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair. This is a requirement to obtain a permit. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The mobile food facility is occupiable, has a gas appliance, electrical system or plumbing system and has not been certified by the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) or otherwise approved by the enforcement agency. (§114294(c)) #54 Not in Compliance with Commissary Requirements OBSERVATIONS: An approved commissary has not been provided for this trailer. Obtain a proper commissary and provide a signed form to our department before a permit will be issued. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: 1. The mobile food facility fails to operate in conjunction with a commissary a mobile support unit. [§114295(a)] 2.
