Two remaining wells <br /> R5-2016-0028-03 are regulated under <br /> the Sustainable <br /> Groundwater <br /> Management Act <br /> A list of monitoring wells to be abandoned is included as Attachment 1 to this letter. <br /> Rescission of WDRs Order No. R5-2016-0028-01 <br /> To rescind WDRs Order No. R5-2016-0028-01 and to proceed with amending the <br /> NPDES permit (CA0085359) and revising the Recycle Water NOA, the Discharger <br /> proposes to conduct the following activities. <br /> Percolation Basin 1 (PB-1) Closure <br /> Discharge to the percolation basin will be terminated and the basin will be properly <br /> backfilled as necessary to support potential future development. No soil removal or <br /> remediation is required as PB-1 received high quality disinfected tertiary recycled water. <br /> Over the last five years, compliance wells have observed general declining <br /> concentration trends for total dissolved solids (TDS) and nitrate, indicating the discharge <br /> of recycled water to the basin has not impacted beneficial uses of groundwater. <br />
