Any individual performing UST system installation or repairs, excluding release detection <br /> equipment, must: <br /> • Possess or be employed by a person who possesses all applicable licenses and <br /> certifications required by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB); and <br /> • Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site at all times while work is being performed who possesses a current <br /> UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council (ICC); and <br /> • Possess a valid, current certificate of training issued by the manufacturer(s) of the <br /> component(s) being installed or repaired. <br /> WITHIN 30 DAYS OF WORK RESULTING IN A CHANGE OF SITE INFORMATION: <br /> 5. The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System <br /> (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/ and ensure all UST information is current. <br /> TEST RESULT SUBMITTAL: <br /> 6. The tank owner or operator must submit completed test results within 30 days of performing the <br /> test. These results can be submitted by email to ust(a)_sigov.org or by uploading to CERS. <br /> ADDITIONAL BILLING: <br /> 7. The permit application included payment for 3 hours of time. Additional time may be required for <br /> inspections and review to verify that this UST work complies with all applicable laws and <br /> regulations. All EHD staff time spent beyond the prepaid amount will be billed to the applicant at <br /> the current EHD hourly rate ($179). <br /> PERMIT EXPIRATION: <br /> 8. This permit expires 180 days from the date of approval.
