5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using <br /> industry standard protocol. The Soils in this area are classified as Redding Gravelly Loam and <br /> San Joaquin Sandy Loam as stated in the Soil Survey of San Joaquin County, as provided by the <br /> United States Department of Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service. <br /> 5.4 Discussion of soil lithology as related to future onsite septic uses: The <br /> Redding Gravelly Loam and San Joaquin Sandy Loam both have a permeability that is moderate. <br /> 6.0 PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION <br /> 6.1 Site map showing the location, with concise and accurate dimensions of the percolation <br /> test holes on the parcel: See Appendix. <br /> 6.2 The minimum number of shallow and deep percolation tests were performed for each <br /> parcel: Four shallow percolation test holes were prepared, one on each of the proposed parcel. <br /> 6.3 Description of the date, time and protocol used to prepare the test hole, including <br /> depth and dimensions of hole, preparation of hole, and depth of water used to presoak <br /> (minimum 12 inches): The shallow test holes was excavated to depths varying from 22.5 to 27 <br /> inches and 8 inches in diameter and backfilled with 2 inches of"pea gravel" in accordance with <br /> County Standards. The shallow holes were prepared by Corey Pottoff and Bradley Handel of <br /> Dillon & Murphy on March 11, 2026 at 7:30 a.m. On April 2, 2026 at 7:30 a.m., the 24 hours <br /> presoak period was started. The holes were filled with 12 inches of water over the gravel at this <br /> time. <br /> 6.4 Description of the date, time and condition of the test hole after the 24-hour soak period <br /> (hole still intact,hole dry,preparation of hole,and depth of water used to presoak(minimum <br /> 12 inches): On April 3, 2026 at 7:30 a.m., the shallow test holes were dry. Six inches of water <br /> were added to the holes and the holes were deemed suitable to continue. The shallow test passed <br /> the minimum County requirements. <br /> 6.5 The test conformed to SJC Policy EH 02-02 (correct depth,diameter,2" gravel,6" water <br /> refill,correct readings recorded). The percolation tests conformed to San Joaquin County Policy <br /> EHD 02-02. <br /> 6.6 Complete Percolation Test Form (including readings) was provided with REHS <br /> verification signature. The rate was correctly calculated using the last reading. See Appendix <br /> for Test Results Form. <br /> I' <br />" 3 <br />
