The Medical Director, in coordination with the HSE <br /> dpepartment, will require or recommend an exposure-specific exam when deemed <br /> propriate based on knowledge of project hazards, occurrence of employee health <br /> symptoms, or an unexpected exposure event. Requests for exposure-specific <br /> examinations will be forwarded to the HSE Department,who will process the requests in <br /> collaboration with the Medical Director. The Medical Director will determine the type <br /> and frequency of the exposure-specific medical exams for employees designated to <br /> participate based on sound medical practice, latest toxicology information, and current <br /> regulatory requirements. <br /> 9.7 Exit Exam <br /> n exit medical examination is offered when an employee leaves the medical surveillance <br /> rogram, either because of termination of employment with Geosyntec or because of <br /> reassignment to a position not designated or identified to participate in the medical <br /> (surveillance program. This optional exit examination may be used to assess potential <br /> changes in medical status that have occurred during the course of employees' previous <br /> work activities, and to establish a medical baseline at the time of departure. <br /> 9.8 Exit/Termination <br /> An exit medical examination is offered when an employee leaves the medical surveillance <br /> program, either because of termination of employment with Geosyntec or because of <br /> reassignment to a position not designated or identified to participate in the medical <br /> surveillance program. This optional exit examination assesses potential adverse impacts <br /> occupational exposures may have contributed to the employee's health status. <br /> 10.
