The initial test results can then be compared against <br /> future periodic or project-specific monitoring results. <br /> 0.5 Period ic/AnnualBiennial Medical Exam <br /> The periodic medical examination is used to evaluate an employee's continued fitness for <br /> duty and to assess possible impact(s)occupational exposures may have had on their health <br /> status. The periodic examination includes an update to the medical and work history, <br /> results of previous occupational exposure assessments, and a detailed medical exam <br /> tailored to the job description. <br /> The Medical Director from WorkCare determines the frequency of the periodic medical <br /> exams based on regulatory requirements, the position/work activities of the employee, <br /> land the level of exposure to physical, chemical, and biological agents. <br /> 9.6 Exposure/Activity/Proiect-Specific Medical Testing <br /> Exposure-specific medical tests and/or evaluation of biological indices may be conducted <br /> to establish a baseline for certain project-specific parameters,to monitor the effectiveness <br /> of hazard controls, and/or to assess the impact of occupational exposures associated with <br /> SAC373 HASP 17 04/2/2026 <br />
