WORK PLAN FOR LIMITED SITE INVESTIGATION Irerracon <br /> Premium California Orchards, Tracy, California <br /> January 8, 2021 Terracon Project No. NA207103 <br /> 2.1 Objectives <br /> The objective of the proposed LSI is to assess the potential presence of chemicals in on-site soil <br /> and groundwater commonly associated with the use of the UST/AST and shop building at <br /> concentrations above laboratory reporting limits and/or applicable environmental screening levels. <br /> 2.2 Commitment to Safety <br /> Terracon has a commitment to the safety of all its employees. As such, and in accordance with <br /> our Incident and Injury Free® safety culture, Terracon will develop a Project Safety Plan to be <br /> used by our personnel during field services. Prior to commencement of on-site activities, Terracon <br /> will hold a tailgate safety meeting to review site-specific job hazards and health and safety needs <br /> for this specific project. In addition, prior to engaging in new on-site activities or tasks, we will re- <br /> evaluate potential job hazards and appropriate safe working procedures as part of our Pre-Task <br /> Planning process. At this time, we anticipate performing fieldwork in a Level D work uniform <br /> consisting of hard hats, safety glasses, protective gloves, and steel-toed boots. It may become <br /> necessary to upgrade this level of protection, at additional cost, while sampling activities are being <br /> conducted in the event that petroleum or chemical constituents are encountered in soils or <br /> groundwater that present an increased risk for personal exposure. <br /> Site Access and Safety <br /> Client shall secure all necessary site related approvals, permits, licenses, and consents necessary <br /> to commence and complete the Services and will execute any necessary site access <br /> agreement. Consultant will be responsible for supervision and site safety measures for its own <br /> employees, but shall not be responsible for the supervision or health and safety precautions for <br /> any third parties, including Client's contractors, subcontractors, or other parties present at the site. <br /> In addition, Consultant retains the right to stop work without penalty at any time Consultant believes <br /> it is in the best interests of Consultant's employees or subcontractors to do so in order to reduce <br /> the risk of exposure to the coronavirus. Client agrees it will respond quickly to all requests for <br /> information made by Consultant related to Consultant's pre-task planning and risk assessment <br /> processes. Client acknowledges its responsibility for notifying Consultant of any circumstances <br /> that present a risk of exposure to the coronavirus or individuals who have tested positive for <br /> COVID-19 or are self-quarantining due to exhibiting symptoms associated with the coronavirus. <br /> 2.3 Work Plan <br /> Terracon has provided this letter Work Plan to the SJCEHD detailing the methodologies described <br /> below.
