Given that fact,
PES has recommended that we just use a licensed driller with a drilling rig instead of a hand auger. That will also allow
us to get a deeper core in those areas to reduce the risk that we need to go out there yet again. Attached is a revised
plan that adds a deeper sampling depth at 4.0-4.5 foot bgs. As with the other samples,we would agree, per Colberg's
prior request,to run all samples collected at the same time. Looks as if the County also requires us to give them an
authorization letter from Colberg as the property owner, granting permission for this drilling. Please let me know if
Colberg is ok with these changes, and PES will get the revised plan out to DTSC in advance of seeking a County
permit. Of course,we will keep you posted and coordinate on scheduling once approved. Thanks.
Greg
Greg Christianson
Partner
ALSTON & BIRD
560 Mission Street,Suite 2100
San Francisco,CA 94105
+1 415 243 1012 (0)
Greg.Christianson@alston.com
1
