The formatting of this report has been <br /> designed to follow, to the greatest degree possible, San Joaquin County, Environmental <br /> Health Department (EHD) Soil Suitability Study Requirements Checklist, dated <br /> September 25, 2007, and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist, dated July 14, <br /> 2003. <br /> 1. SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> 1.1. Introduction and Development <br /> The Soil Suitability Study (SSS) was conducted to determine whether site soils are <br /> suitable for septic system usage. The study was performed according to the <br /> requirements of Section 9-110.05.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. A <br /> major element of the field work included conducting percolation tests that meet <br /> absorption rates as specified by EHD. A review of published soil information, geologic <br /> maps, and groundwater information was also performed. <br /> 1.1.1. Site Description <br /> The site is an approximately 1.5-acre tract of I land located at 11065 North Alpine Road, <br /> Stockton, San Joaquin County, California. The assessor's parcel number (APN) for the <br /> site is 063-040-23. The site is currently developed with an approximately 1,870 square- <br /> foot single-family residence and landscaping. <br /> According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer the site is zoned General Agriculture <br /> (AG). Based on a review of the San Joaquin County Community Development <br /> Department website, the AG zoning is designated for agricultural lands for commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises. <br /> According to the California Geological Survey Waterloo 30' x 60' (2022) Quadrangle, <br /> California, the elevation of the site is approximately 50 feet above mean sea level with a <br /> topographic gradient generally sloping downward towards the southwest. <br /> Facilities I Environmental I Geotechnical I Materials 1 <br />
