Due to the difficulty with over-drilling small <br /> diameter wells, the 3/4-inch diameter sparge wells (S-1 through S-20) will be destroyed by pressure <br /> grouting the casing, followed by over-drilling the upper five feet of the original bore hole, applying <br /> a mushroom cap of neat cement grout in the upper bore hole, and restoring the ground surface to <br /> like conditions.
