1.3 SUBMITTALS <br /> A. Manufacturer shall provide product detail sheets, quality control, and <br /> contract closeout documentation in accordance with the requirements of <br /> this specification. <br /> 1.4 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE AND HANDLING <br /> A. Product delivery, storage, and handling shall comply with Manufacturer's <br /> instructions and as follows. <br /> B. All carbon media shall be pre-loaded in the system. <br /> C. All equipment shall be protected from the elements and damage while in <br /> storage. <br /> D. All packing slips and shipments must be inspected upon delivery to ensure <br /> they are complete, and no damage has occurred during transportation. <br /> 1.5 WARRANTIES <br /> A. All mechanical equipment and components shall be free of manufacturing <br /> defects for a period of 12 months from system start-up, or 18 months from <br /> delivery (whichever comes first). <br /> B. The system must be operated in accordance with the supplied operation <br /> and maintenance manuals, and the specified design parameters <br /> C. Activated carbon media carries no warranty. <br /> 1.6 ACCEPTABLE MANUFACTURERS <br /> A. This specification is based on the AiraCarbTM activated carbon odor <br /> control system as supplied by Anua, Greensboro, NC <br /> B. System using chemicals will not be considered <br /> C. System using biological processes shall not be acceptable <br /> D. Substitution of the specified media or other products must be pre- <br /> approved by the consulting engineer twenty-one (21) days prior to the bid <br /> date and be formally added by addendum. <br /> 1.7 QUALIFICATIONS <br /> A. The system supplier shall have at least 5 years' experience in design and <br /> fabrication of municipal odor control systems, as demonstrated by a list of <br /> at least 5 successful installations (greater than or equal to 100cfm), with <br /> references. All references shall include valid contact names and phone <br /> numbers that can be verified. <br /> 2 of 6 <br />
