Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Environmental Health Division requires a Soil Suitability Study indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to issuance of building <br /> permits or final occupancy approval (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1105.2(d)). A review fee of$178.00 is required at time of submittal to the Environmental <br /> Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San <br /> Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the <br /> manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment <br /> and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$89.00 per percolation <br /> hole is required. <br /> NOTE: Environmental Health Division Permit#SR0022725 for a septic repair completed on <br /> May 30,2000, appears only adequate for a 3-bedroom home. Applicant shall <br /> demonstrate that existing septic system is of adequate size, and the 100% replacement <br /> area is available per San Joaquin County regulations (San Joaquin County Development <br /> Title, Section 9-1110.5). <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s) or final occupancy approval. <br /> Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory.
