All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate <br />closure of the food facility. <br />#14 Food Contact Surfaces Sanitized or Warewashing Sanitization <br />OBSERVATIONS: Clean and sanitize all food contact surfaces prior to opening. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All food contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean and sanitized. Use commercial grade/food safe insecticides only. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All poisonous substances, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning compounds shall be stored separate from <br />food, utensils, packing material and food-contact surfaces. (114254, 114254.1, 114254.2) <br />#33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br />OBSERVATIONS: Clean and sanitize all nonfood contact surfaces prior to opening. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115 (c)) <br />#45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: Provide proper 3/8" coving in the restroom (where the wall and floor meet). Correct asap. <br />Remove the tape from the wall by the kitchen hand sink and hood. Use a silicone caulking to fill in the seam. Correct asap. <br />Paint the walls a semi-gloss paint (where plaster is unfinished) to make the surface smooth and cleanable. Correct asap. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All <br />floor surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is <br />easily cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in <br />original unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
