EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />1. Describe pre -emergency arrangements with local fire departments, police <br />departments, hospitals, contractors, and other state and local emergency response <br />agencies. <br />866 HELP EHS (866-435-7347) would be contacted. This number is manned by emnlovees <br />as well as 3E Company, the contractor used for emergency response, battery disposal, agency <br />inspections, etc.... <br />The Police Department is familiar with our facility and the type of business activities <br />conducted onsite. The Fire Department conducts periodic life—safety and Uniform Fire Code <br />inspections that focus on hazardous materials handling and usage. <br />3. The definition of a release or threatened release of a hazardous material includes <br />incidents that pose an actual or potential hazard to human health and safety, property <br />or the environment. In the event of a hazardous materials release or threatened <br />release, state law requires immediate verbal notification to the agencies listed below. <br />a. Local Fire Department <br />b.
