Our emergency evacuation procedures and assignments are designed to respond to many potential <br />emergencies that require them, including: fires, bomb threats, explosions, earthquake, or any other <br />event that may require an emergency evacuation. <br />1. Whenever an alarm is heard and the order is given to EVACUATE the building, proceed with <br />the evacuation using the nearest available exit (see posted evacuation maps). Do not take <br />extra time to gather personal belongings. If possible close but do not lock interior doors. <br />2. Please walk directly to the designated meeting area; meeting point A is the center of the <br />building at the edge of the parking lot, and meeting point B is the center of the building at the <br />edge of the parking lot. <br />3. Emergency Coordinators and/or Supervisors will take immediate account of all employees, <br />temporary and regular, and any known on-site visitors, vendors, and/or customers at the <br />facility. If you have not assembled at the designated location, the result could be that <br />emergency responders take unnecessary risks to try to rescue Noll / NorWesCo personnel <br />who are safe and not in need of rescuing. <br />Q. Under no circumstances are Noll 1 NorWesCo personnel to re-enter the building until <br />clearance has been received by the Emergency Coordinator from the Fire <br />Department/Emergency Responders_ Nor are employees to leave the premises unless <br />authorized by the Emergency Coordinator. <br />Procedures to Account for l`m la ees: <br />Trained Noll / NorWesCo evacuation personnel will assist in the safe and orderly evacuation of the <br />building. Once evacuation is complete, a roll call will be taken to ensure that all personnel and known <br />visitors are out of the building. <br />The employees selected are trained in the complete workplace layout and the escape routes <br />from the workplace. <br />The trained employees also keep updated employee rosters for roll call. <br />Before leaving the interior of the facility, the Noll i NorWesCo evacuation personnel will be <br />responsible for checking rooms and other enclosed spaces in the facility for employees who <br />may be trapped or otherwise unable to evacuate the area (to be done only if personal safety <br />is not at risk). A list of trained personnel appears below: <br />Noll I NorWesCo CMI Weather Guard have trained emelMency.responders who know how to: <br />Direct and assist in the safe and orderly emergency evacuation of the Noll I NorWesCo <br />facility. <br />Provide guidance and instruction for all types of emergency situations. <br />Trained in CPR, First -Aid and AED protocols. <br />Avoid hazardous areas during an emergency evacuation. <br />Rescue and First Aid Trained Personnel: <br />Rescue and first aid may be necessary during emergency situations. Circumstances calling for <br />rescue and/or first aid will be rendered by Noll / NorWesCoi designated first aid responders who have <br />received training through Red Cross. Designated first aid responders are to provide first aid <br />assistance within their capabilities to employees requiring it during emergency situations. <br />Rescue actions are to be taken by first aid responders only if this can be done without risk to personal <br />safety. Rescue actions that fall outside this description will be coordinated and effected by <br />professional emergency responders to the scene only_ Designated first aid responders are listed on <br />the Safety Bulletin Board. <br />33 <br />
