Noll l NorWesCo Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Section <br />Four (4) <br />Emergency Action Plan Implementation in the Event of Inclement Weather <br />Non -Evacuation Emergency Procedures <br />Noll ! NorWesCo has the following non -evacuation procedures: <br />Responding to a weather alarm: <br />In the event of inclement weather or high winds, it is Noll / NorWesCo policy to provide emergency <br />warning and shelter. Employees will be notified of this emergency via the Public Address (PA) <br />system. The notification will include that the facility will be closing due to weather and/or power <br />outages and will either advise employees to leave the building and go home (usually in cases of <br />power outages) or to proceed to a safe in-house location as indicated blow. Once employees are <br />made aware of a situation that requires them to seek in-house safe shelter, they are to follow these <br />procedures: <br />1 There are two (2) shelters available for extreme weather conditions; These are.- <br />a. <br />re:a. The production break room <br />b. The bathrooms located in the office area (mens' and women's) <br />2. Employees should stay away from windows if possible, and stay inside the building. <br />3. Employees are not to leave the shelter area or return to their regular duties until clearance <br />has been given by the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Coordinator. <br />4, If employees are directed to go home, Supervisors are responsible for making sure that all <br />machines are turned off and de -energized before proceeding with an orderly exit of the <br />building. <br />5. The Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Coordinator or designee will determine when it is safe for <br />employees to leave their shelter area and return to work. At that time, the Emergency Action <br />Plan (EAP) Coordinator will: <br />a. Determine if there is structural damage. The damage will be assessed and the <br />damage estimates turned over to the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager. <br />b. If damages are extensive or plant operations are compromised, the Emergency <br />Action Pian (EAP) Coordinator or designee will determine what actions are necessary <br />up to and including shutting the facility down. <br />6, if anyone is injured the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Coordinator or designee will activate <br />rescue and first aid actions as appropriate <br />The rest of this Page was left intentionally blank <br />37 <br />
