Box 2009 • (1601 East Hazelton Avenue) • Stockton, California 95201 <br />(209) 468-3400 <br />December 10, 1992 <br />JOHN MELLING <br />NESTLE/HILLS BROTHERS <br />COFFEE COMPANY <br />230 INDUSTRIAL AVENUE <br />RIPON CA 95366 <br />RE: REPORT OF VIOLATIONS AND SCHEDULE OF CORRECTION <br />On October 5, 1992, San Joaquin County Public Health Services - <br />Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) conducted an inspection <br />of Nestle Beverage Company located at 230 Industrial Avenue, <br />Ripon, CA, 95366. <br />As a result of that inspection, violations of the hazardous waste <br />statutes and/or regulations were identified. Specific violations <br />and required corrective actions are listed below. Failure to <br />correct the identified violations within the scheduled period <br />will result in PHS-EHD citing you for continuing/additional <br />violations. <br />I. REPORT OF VIOLATIONS:. <br />1. Section 66262.34 (e)(1)(C), Article 3, Chapter 12, Title 22, <br />California Code of Regulations: Hazardous waste containers <br />used at the point of waste generation in the repair shop and <br />near the lab were not properly labeled. <br />2. Section 66262.34 (e)(1)(D), Article 3, Chapter 12, Title 22, <br />California Code of Regulations: Hazardous waste containers <br />used at points of waste generation in the repair shop were <br />not closed. <br />3. Section 66262.34 (f)(1), Article 3, Chapter 12, Title 22, <br />California Code of Regulations: Hazardous waste containers <br />located in and outside the repair shop did not have <br />accumulation start dates. <br />4. Section 66262.34 (f)(3), Article 3, Chapter 12, Title 22, <br />California Code of Regulations: The hazardous waste <br />containers stored outside the repair shop area did not have <br />labels. <br />A Division of San JoagW County Health Ca,e Serncn 10 <br />
