Wash hands with hand soap <br />in hot water. <br />Toys "R" Us, Inc. <br />HAZARD COMMUNICATION PROGRAM <br />9/1/95 <br />Sanitizing following decontamination <br />Note: Do not use the same equipment to clean and sanitize as was <br />used to decontaminate. <br />The following steps should be taken following decontamination of <br />large spills: <br />1. Mix a new solution of bleach and water (1:10) in a bucket. <br />2. Put on a new pair of gloves. Dispose of gloves in trash when <br />finished. <br />3. Rinse the mop in the solution, wring it out, and wipe up the <br />area of the spill. Repeat until all materials have been removed. <br />4. Allow area to air dry. Remove "Wet Floor" signs when the floor <br />is dry. <br />5. Dispose of the used/soiled cleaning solution in the janitor's <br />mop sink. <br />6. Treat the mop sink and any equipment with a fresh solution of <br />bleach and water (1:10). Let the equipment soak for 10 minutes. <br />Personal hygiene <br />The following precautions should be followed by the employee <br />after decontamination: <br />1. Remove soiled clothing as soon as practical. If clothing is <br />soaked, remove clothing, wash body parts contacted with soap <br />and water, and borrow clothing. <br />2. Wash hands thoroughly (for 20 seconds with hand soap in hot <br />water) immediately after removal and disposal of gloves. <br />BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS O <br />
