The remainder of the <br /> annular space shall be filled with <br /> cement/bentonite grout mixed in the <br /> following proportions: 1 bag Portland Type <br /> I/II cement, 6 to 6.5 gallons of water and <br /> two to three pounds of powdered bentonite. <br /> 7 . After installation has been completed, the <br /> well shall be developed by swabbing, <br /> pumping, or bailing until all settable <br /> solids are removed. The developing process <br /> shall include measuring water level before <br /> pumping starts and monitoring pH, <br /> conductivity and temperature at regularly <br /> spaced intervals until these parameters <br /> stabalize. The Pilko site representative <br /> will sample the well after development. <br /> 8 . All bit cuttings generated during the <br /> auguring process shall be placed in <br /> 55-gallon sealable steel drums. Drums will <br /> be marked with boring number and will be <br /> stored onsite until laboratory results are <br /> -10- <br />
