Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this <br /> waste was managed. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> At time of inspection: <br /> One 55g drum of viral disinfectant <br /> One 55g drum of methanol, acetone <br /> were seen open. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately <br /> close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 603 CCR 66262.34(e)(1)(C) Failed to mark initial accumulation start date on satellite containers. <br /> At time of inspection: <br /> One 1 g container in the main lab did not have an initial start accumulation date. <br /> One 1 g container in the main lab had an incomplete initial start accumulation date (date, month, without a year). <br /> Several 1-g containers in the main hazardous waste storage area had dates marked in pen on the plastic that wiped <br /> off or were illegible. <br /> Several 1 g containers in the main hazardous waste storage area did not have an initial start accumulation date. <br /> Several 1 g containers had incomplete initial start accumulation dates(date, month, without a year). <br /> The initial date of waste accumulation shall be clearly marked and visible for inspection on each container used for <br /> satellite accumulation of hazardous waste.
