I <br /> 1Workplan, and in order to prioritize activities at the Site, PG&E <br /> ,I <br /> 2 shall seek to determine if there are areas at the Site which should <br /> 3 be addressed in an expedited manner. Such areas, if any, shall be <br /> 4 treated as interim remedial measures and shall be subject to removal <br /> o actions or remedial actions as the Department determines to be <br /> 6 necessary to remove any imminent and substantial endangerment to <br /> 7 public health, welfare, or the environment or necessary to mitigate <br /> 8 the future migration of contaminants. The Department may require <br /> 9l <br /> removal or Remedial actions at the Site and specify thel <br /> 10 implementation schedule. <br /> i <br /> 11 3 . 5 . Prosect Coordinator. Within 30 days of the effective date <br /> 12 of this Order, PG&E shall submit to the Department in writing the <br /> 13 name, address and telephone number of a Project Coordinator whose <br /> 14 responsibilities will be to receive all notices, comments, approvals <br /> I <br /> 15andother communications from the Department to PG&E. <br /> 16 3 . 6 . Pro!ect Engineer/Geologist. The work performed pursuant to <br /> 17 this Order shall be under the direction and supervision of a <br /> 18i qualified professional engineer or a registered geologist in the <br /> 19 State of California with expertise in hazardous waste site cleanup. <br /> I <br /> 20 Within thirty (30) calendar days of the effective date of this <br /> 21 Order, PG&E must submit: a) the name and address of the project <br /> 22 � engineer or geologist chosen by PG&E; and (b) in order to <br /> I <br /> 23 ' demonstrate expertise in hazardous waste cleanup, the resume of they <br /> 24 ! engineer or geologist and the statement of qualifications of the <br /> 25 consulting firm responsible for the work. Selection and replacement <br /> 26i of an engineer or geologist and any consulting firm shall be the <br /> 27 sole decision of PG&E.
