• Signs may be posted to remind both customers and employees that used oils mixed with other <br /> substances cannot be accepted by Pick-n-Pull. <br /> Oils that are possibly mixed with coolants,significant amount of water or other contaminants should <br /> not be accepted. Examples of motor oils that have been contaminated are below. <br /> y : <br /> If the customer indicates that the oil has not been mixed with other substances and the oil does not <br /> appear to be contaminated,the oil may be accepted by Pick-n-Pull. Accepted oils shall be placed in the <br /> designated Collection Container located onsite. <br /> The Collection Container shall be: <br /> - Well maintained and area kept clean <br /> - Made of material that is compatible with oils <br /> - Have the capacity to store a minimum of 55 gallons <br /> - Labeled in accordance with Hazardous Waste labeling requirements <br /> - Provided with secondary containment that will contain 110%of its containment volume <br /> - Provided with spill response material (absorbent)within accessible proximity of the container <br /> The Collection Container shall be emptied by a qualified contractor(currently Asbury Environmental) <br /> only for proper recycling offsite. <br /> Upon request,the Customer may receive$0.40 per gallon (maximum of$2.00 per drop off of 5 gallons). <br /> Incentive payment can be given in form of cash or store credit. <br /> Remember to log the collection of used oil on the CalRecycle Oil Collection log. <br /> If you have questions, please contact Charina Gaspay at 916-204-7625; cgaspav@picknpull.com. <br /> �' ® <br /> DEC © S 2016 <br /> -�Al HEALTH <br /> DERAATlME"'r <br /> Page 2 of 2 <br />
