• <br />Task 12.0 Removal of Non -Hazardous Material and Debris <br />Task 13.0 Disposal of Hazardous Chemicals and Contaminants and Non - <br />Hazardous Material and Debris <br />Each of these 13 tasks are briefly discussed below. <br />TASK 1.0 - DEVELOP WORK PLAN AND SITE SPECIFIC HEALTH AND <br />SAFETY PLAN <br />Upon approval of this proposal, C.K.C., Inc. will develop a work plan and site <br />specific health and safety plan describing the work activities to be conducted and safety <br />precautions to be followed during this project. This work plan and health and safety plan <br />will be submitted to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Services Department <br />(County) for approval. A work plan and health and safety plan for the work that has been <br />completed at the site was submitted and approved by the County. <br />TASK 2.0 - CONSTRUCT SITE SECURITY FENCING <br />Approximately 1,800 linear feet of fencing containing strands of barbed wire on top <br />was placed around the facility for site security. Gates were installed at the entrances to the <br />site and are locked with pad locks and chain. Attached to the security fcacing are signs <br />which read 'DANGER -HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS, DANGER -DO NOT ENTER, and <br />DANGER -KEEP OUT." <br />TASK 3.0 - CLEAN-UP OF L1EAD BERING FILTER CAKE SLUDGE SPILLED <br />OUTSIDE FACILITY (Task Completed) <br />Approximately 20 pounds of lead bearing filter cake sludge was spilled onto the <br />asphalt surface located north of the building structure of the facility. The asphalt impacted <br />with the filter cake sludge covered an area approximately 0 feet by 20 feet. <br />The filter cake sludge was swept up using brooms and shovels, and placed into a <br />hazardous waste stickered roll -off bin for transportation and disposal. Upon completion of <br />the sweeping activities, the asphalt pad was washed using a high-pressure steam washer. <br />Rinseate generated during waslulown activities was pumped into a 7,500 gallon capacity <br />above ground poly storage tank stored on site. <br />TASK 4.0 - REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF ASPHALT IMPACTED WITH <br />OIL (Task Completed) <br />Approximately 1,200 square feet of asphalt located in the former boiler area of the <br />facility was impacted with oil. This area was located west of the building structure of the <br />facility. <br />
