The rinsate generated <br />during the steam cleaning process will also be pumped into the vacuum trucks for <br />transportation and disposal. The containers and wooden flooring will be demolished and <br />placed into hazardous waste stickered roll -off bins for transportation and disposal. Containers <br />and wooden flooring that has not been impacted with chemicals or contaminants, or have <br />been deemed non -hazardous through steam cleaning activities will be placed into a 40 -cubic <br />yard bin for disposal at a Class III disposal facility. <br />Liquid chemicals that are not compatible with the bulk of the liquid chemicals <br />described above will be pumped into DOT approved, 55 -gallon poly drums for transportation <br />and disposal. <br />Solid chemicals and contaminants will be removed from the futility using forklifts and <br />bobcat loaders. The solid chemicals and contaminants will be placed into hazardous waste <br />stickered roll -off bins for transportation and disposal. <br />TASK 8.0 - REMOVAL OF PIPING LOCATED IN THE CONCRETE SUMPS AND <br />DRAINAGE SYSTEM <br />Prior to removing and disposing of the piping located within the concrete sumps and <br />drainage system located at the site, the liquid contained within piping of the sumps and <br />drainage system will be pumped into a vacuum truck for transportation and disposal. Once <br />the liquids have been removed from the pipes, the pipes will be steam cleaned using a high <br />pressure steam washer. The rinsate generated during the steam cleaning process will also be <br />pumped into the vacuum trucks for transportation and disposal_ <br />After the pipes have been steam cleaned, the pipes will be removed from the concrete <br />sumps and drainage system by personnel equipped with pipe wrenches and chop saws. The <br />removed piping will be placed into hazardous waste stickered roll -off bins for transportation <br />and disposal. Piping that has been deemed non -hazardous through steam cleaning activities <br />will be placed :into a 40 -cubic yard bin for disposal at a Class III disposal facility. <br />TASK 9.0 - STEAM CLEANING OF CONCRETE SUMPS, DRAINAGE SYSTEM <br />AND FLOORS <br />The concrete sumps, drainage system and concrete floors visually stained with <br />chemicals and contaminants will be steam cleaned using a high-pressure washer. Riusate <br />generated during the steam cleaning activities will be pumped into vacuum trucks for <br />transportation and disposal. Floors that are not visually impacted with chemicals or <br />contaminants will be swept and mopped. <br />
