(Repeat) Observed oil and absorbent at various locations throughout the facility, usually around <br /> removed engines or engine parts. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility <br /> of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten <br /> human health or the environment. Immediately , and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste <br /> regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed <br /> by 11/16/2013. <br /> 404. (Repeat) The 55-gallon drum of used oil was not closed. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br /> closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and <br /> ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Submit evidence <br /> of correction to EHD by 11/16/2013. <br /> 605. (Repeat) Hazardous Waste label of the above-mentioned drum of used oil did not have hazardous <br /> properties and date of accumulation. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br /> information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. Owner re-labeled the container, and verified the start date of accumulation <br /> with the latest disposal receipt on site Violation was corrected. <br /> 610. (Repeat) No date of start date accumulation on a 55-gallon drum of drained used oil filters. Used <br /> oil filters must be stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked <br /> with an accumulation start date. Immediately and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this <br /> way. Owner closed the container, and verified the start date of accumulation with the latest disposal <br /> receipt on site.
