These business plans must include the facility's inventory of hazardous
materials handled, an emergency response plan for actual or threatened releases, an
employee -training program, and a facility map displaying the locations of reportable
hazardous materials. The chemical inventories and the overall business plans are to be
reviewed and updated annually, or as often as significant changes in business operation
require. These requirements are specified in the CH&SC, Sections 25503.5, 25504,
25505, 25509 & 25510, and in Title 19 of the CCR, Sections 2729-2734. These
requirements must be satisfied and managed through the California Environment
Reporting System (CERS). Boretech management and the Amec Foster Wheeler
Project Manager will regularly review and maintain updates in CERS. The San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department is the Certified Unified Program Agency
(CUPA) with jurisdiction over Boretech's hazardous materials and waste management
operations.
Boretech Hazardous Materials & Hazardous Waste Management Operations Plan Page 17
