Hazelton, Stockton Program: HW <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> 605 & 701. One 5-gallon bucket of hazardous-waste sandpapers and one 20-gallon metal can of waste <br /> rags contaminated with solvent did not have a hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste containers <br /> shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br /> 2. name and address of generator <br /> 3. hazardous properties <br /> 4. physical state <br /> 5. composition (contents) <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. Since these containers have been on site longer than 180 days, immediately contact a <br /> licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the <br /> manifest to the EHD by June 11, 2012. <br /> NOTES <br /> Facility generated less than 5 tons of hazardous waste in 2011. <br /> Jaime (owner) stated he'd started business here since June 2011 after closing the business at the <br /> previous location at 516 Worth, Stockton. Owner stated he only does paint job along with his partner, <br /> Joaquin who does upholstery work at this location. No sanding, blasting, or grinding of paint at this <br /> location; he sends the vehicles to PSC (Jaime is not completely certain of the name) in French Camp for <br /> sandblasting jobs. Jaime stated the rags and the sandpapers were the only hazardous wastes he had <br /> generated since starting business at this location. <br /> Observed two 5-gallon buckets of paint by the wall left by property owner. Jaime stated he intends to <br /> use the paint on the two unpainted walls at the facility. <br /> Discussed with Jaime the need to make a hazardous waste determination of any waste he generated <br /> and manage it properly, and if determined to be hazardous, must be managed and disposed in <br /> accordance to Title 22 and the disposal receipts be maintained for at least 3 years I pointed out in his <br /> operation he will eventually generate waste paint rags and air filters on his paint booth These and <br /> other wastes will require hazardous waste determination. <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspector: Received By: Title: <br /> Jeffrey Wong (209) 468-0335 <br /> EH023-02-003 Rev07112111 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
