Pacific Coast MS Indust s Management Proce s C9.3 Waste OR Handling Procedure Aim To insure that waste Polyethylene Glycol is properly handled Responsibility All team members that are involved with the handling of waste Glycol Are responsible for following this operational process control The Management Representative is responsible for notifications and documentation related to the transportation and disposal of all hazardous waste Method Read and understand the operational process control Follow the directions provided in the process control Report to supervisor if unable to comply with the directions of the process control for any reason. Records Uniform Hazardous waste manifests References None Applicable Operational Procedure for: Waste Oil Handling • Waste Glycol generated through the processes of P.C.I is to be handled and disposed of properly. • Liquid waste glycol is to be accumulated in the designated containers that are labeled with the accumulation start date and the contents name • No materials other than that which is named on the label are to be placed into the barrels • Waste Glycol is to be removed from P.C.I. by a designated Hazardous Materials Transporter and all necessary documentation is to be completed by the Management Representative • Records are to be maintained as required by government regulations for all hazardous waste shipments • Barrels and or storage containers and the storage area are to be inspected whenever waste Glycol is added to the container and the check off sheet is to be marked by the team member adding waste to the waste glycol container • The Management Representative is to be notified when any condition of the check off sheet is abnormal • All barrels are to be kept closed except during the transfer of materials Issue: 2 October 10, 2008 Authorized By: Jasper Bullock Pagel.l
