Pacific Coast MS Indus*S Management ProcedVes <br />0.2 Weil. `" $ r�eadir e <br />Aim <br />To insure that waste oils are properly handled <br />Responsibility <br />All team members that are involved with the handling of waste oils <br />Are responsible for following this operational process control <br />The Management Representative is responsible for notifications and documentation <br />related to the transportation and disposal of all hazardous waste <br />Method <br />Read and understand the operational process control <br />Follow the directions provided in the process control <br />Report to supervisor if unable to comply with the directions of the process control for any <br />reason. <br />Records <br />Uniform Hazardous waste manifests <br />References <br />None Applicable <br />Operational Procedure for: Waste Oil Handling <br />• Waste oils generated through the processes of P.C.I are to be handled and <br />disposed of properly. <br />• Liquid waste oils are to accumulated in the designated containers that are labeled <br />with the accumulation start date and the contents name <br />• No materials other than that which is named on the label are to be placed into the <br />barrels <br />• Waste oils are to be removed from P.C.I. by a designated Hazardous Materials <br />Transporter and all necessary documentation is to be completed by the <br />Management Representative <br />• Records are to be maintained as required by government regulations for all <br />hazardous wastes <br />• Barrels and or storage containers and the storage area are to be inspected <br />whenever waste oil is added to the container and the check off sheet is to be <br />marked by the team member adding oil to the waste oil container <br />• The Management Representative is to be notified when any condition of the check <br />off sheet is abnormal <br />• All barrels are to be closed except during the transfer of materials <br />Issue: 2 October 8, 2008 Authorized By: Jasper Bullock Pagel. l <br />
