Prior to the commencement <br /> of on-site activities, all individuals involved with on-site work will be required to <br /> sign the Acknowledgment and Agreement Statement within the SSP. The <br /> ' proposed Scope of Work is as follows: <br /> ' • Installation of one 2-inch diameter groundwater monitoring well (MW-1) <br /> near the northwestern corner of the subject site (area where the highest <br /> ' levels of soil impact have been identified during previous sampling <br /> events). <br /> ' • Collect soil samples at five-foot intervals to characterize soil type. Soil <br /> samples collected between 10 feet and the first encounter of <br /> ' groundwater will be analyzed for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as diesel <br /> (TPHd), Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), and Benzene, <br /> ' Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes (BTEX), using EPA Test Methods <br /> 8015 and 8020. <br /> • Development and sampling of well MW-1 in accordance with RWQCB <br /> ' and Local guidelines. The sample collected from well MW-1 will be <br /> analyzed for TPHd, TPHg, BTEX, and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) <br /> ' using EPA Test Methods 8015 and 8020. <br /> • Place all drill cuttings, decontamination water, and well purge water in <br /> Department of Transportation approved 55-gallon drums, pending <br /> appropriate disposal. <br /> • Prepare a report for your use and submittal to the SJCEHD. <br /> E,C, Inc.
