Based on the return to compliance certification received on 11-10-2011 metal
fines"metal shavings, sweep metal residue"will be handled as hazardous waste. Facilities who generate less than
1000 kg of hazardous waste per month and do not exceed 6000 kg of waste stored on site at any time may store
waste on site up to 180 days. Since it can't be determined how long these metal fines were onsite, immediately
contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest
to the EHD.
2) One 55-gallon container of ammonia filters (located in the hazardous waste storage area), lacked an accumulation
start date on its label.
