Picking, pinching or otherwise working primarily with fingers <br />Frequency: Not Required, but may occur Rarely at discretion of the Janitor/Cleaner to <br />use fingers to pick or pinch lighter trash, or shrink wrap materials to remove. <br />Work performed: See above. <br />19) Talking/Hearing: The ability to communicate through speech and hearing is required to effectively <br />communicate with co-workers and supervisors; and, to detect malfunctioning equipment, or horns or <br />signals to safely operate equipment. Normal, near normal, or corrected to hearing is required. <br />20) Tasting/Smelling: Not Required <br />21) Vision (Near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, <br />field of vision): <br />Normal, near normal, or corrected to vision is required to effectively operate a equipment, perform <br />cleaning tasks to standards, and utilize tools and work aids effectively; and involves, near and far acuity, <br />accommodation, depth perception, field of vision and color identification. <br />22) Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination: The Janitor/Cleaner utilizes eye/hand/foot coordination to operate <br />and control the tug and the scrubber/sweeper, and to utilize proper body mechanics to lift and move <br />objects for accuracy and safety. <br />ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS - EXPOSURE TO: <br />[X] Weather — 95 % inside 5% outside <br />[ X ] Extreme Heat — Warm temperature in upper slot areas. <br />[ X ] Extreme Cold - Exposed to extreme cold when working in refrigerated and frozen area.
