Regularly seeks ways to reduce scrap and to apply innovative ideas in planning jobs including <br /> ways to run equipment and schedule employees more efficiently. <br /> �,. Enforces and communicates safety rules and trains employees to insure safe operating <br /> practices;follows up with employee evaluations in written form. <br /> 12. Administers company policies and the terms of the labor agreement relative to carton <br /> forming shift operations, including overtime scheduling, filling jobs, answering grievances, <br /> etc. <br /> 13. Maintains positive employee relations through effective communication and leadership. <br /> 14. Coordinates with production planning and sales service staff and other shift supervisors to <br /> ensure accurate and timely communication of order specifications and customer delivery <br /> needs, and to ensure smooth shift—to—shift operations. <br /> 15. Enforces specific work practices as required by environmental regulations. <br /> 16. Directs and enforces proper housekeeping practices to insure that a clean plant environment <br /> is maintained. <br /> 17. May serve as backup to Carton Superintendent, filling in as needed (for vacations, eta). <br /> 18. Performs other similar and related duties as assigned. j <br />
