STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE <br /> Procedure #: 020-0003 Title: <br /> Issue#: 8 ■ ■j Temp n jan <br /> Issue Date: 9/27/2011 Emergency Procedures: <br /> Supersedes Date: 8/5/2011 Spill Response <br /> 4.0 Responsibility <br /> 4.1 The General Manager(GM)is responsible for ensuring there is adequate planning,resources and <br /> general oversight for the administration of this procedure. <br /> 4.2 The Production Manager(PM)is responsible to the GM for: <br /> • Ensuring adequate equipment,supplies and materials are on hand to conduct this procedure. <br /> • Ensuring adequate supervision is maintained over this procedure to protect affected <br /> employees and the assets of the company. <br /> • Direct oversight in the execution of this procedure. <br /> 4.3 The EHS Coordinator is responsible to the PM for: <br /> • Serving as the Emergency Environmental Coordinator for the facility. <br /> • Providing assessment and evaluation of the emergency spill and determining a policy <br /> compliant response. <br /> • Coordinating activities and communication with corporate or contracted 24-hour responders. <br /> 4.4 The Human Resources Manager(HR)is responsible to the GM for: <br /> • Providing adequate procedures and training materials for the conduct of this procedure. <br /> • Maintaining training records relevant to this procedure. <br /> 4.5 The Production Superintendent and Supervisors are responsible to the PM for: <br /> • providing direct supervision over employees in the conduct of this procedure. <br /> • The Shift Supervisor responsible for the area of the spill is the Supervisor-In-Charge of the <br /> Incidental Spill Response Team. <br /> 4.6 The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to the PM for <br /> • the maintenance of facilities and equipment needed or used in the conduct of this procedure. <br /> 4.7 The Supervisor-In-Charge, the Maintenance Crew on duty and employees local to the spill make up the <br /> Incidental Spill Response Team. <br /> 4.8 All employees are responsible to their immediate superior for demonstrating compliance with the <br /> elements of this procedure. <br /> 5.0 Safety <br /> 5.1 All safety rules,regulations and procedures will be observed while carrying out the activities associated <br /> with this procedure. <br /> Issued By:Jim Dacayanan Authorized By:Bill Lewis Page 2 of 6 <br />
