Space Humidity
The FAS will take the space dry bulb and wet bulb temperatures and verify the relative
humidity reading at BMC.
This may be done using a sling psychrometer or other accepted industry standard.
If a sensor is within I O%of field reading then it may be software calibrated.
If it is not within 10%then it will be replaced.
Outside Air Temperature & Humidity
These sensors are to be tested using the same methods and guidelines as room temp &
humidity.
The installation methods are to be checked for compliance with Sprint's standards of
installation.
If the installation is not compliant then note should be made for correction.
Correction may not occur at the time of revalidation depending on how much work will
be required to correct the installation.
Wind Speed & Direction
The wind speed & direction monitors are to be tested and calibrated according to
manufacture's instructions.
Sprint will provide these instructions.
Domestic Water Pressure
This can be tested by simply acquiring a water pressure gauge used by plumbers that fits
on a water faucet to determine incoming pressure.
Verify reading with BAS where used.
In cases where the sensor is located on the low-pressure side of a PRV (pressure reducing
valve) then all that can be reasonably done is to confirm that it is working.
Additional gauging would not be expected.
3
