Recovery Act (RCRA), the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), the U.S. Department of <br /> Transportation (DOT), and other applicable California state codes and standards. <br /> The purpose of this SSHP is to provide guidelines that allow the Site Safety and Health <br /> Officer (SSHO) to respond to changing conditions and make professional judgments regarding <br /> the interpretation of monitoring data and related control measures. The SSHP also delineates <br /> health and safety responsibilities and assigns those responsibilities to project and office <br /> personnel. This document is to be read and understood by site personnel. The specific <br /> requirements of this SSHP apply to Geofon employees and subcontractors and/or site tasks <br /> unless authorized for such use by a designated Geofon representative. Site personnel (employees <br /> and subcontractors) must be permitted access to this SSHP upon request. Site personnel are <br /> required to sign this SSHP as an acknowledgment of agreement, acceptance, and understanding <br /> of the contents. <br /> 2 <br />
