No person (s) should tenter the Exclusion Zone until the cause of the <br /> Injury has been determined and the SSM/CIH indicates that it is safe to <br /> again enter. <br /> 2. Personnel Injury in the Support Zone: <br /> Upon notification of an injury in the Support Zone, the Project <br /> Superintendent and SSM will assess the nature of the injury. If the <br /> cause of the injury or loss of the injured person does not affect the <br /> performance of site personnel, operations may continue, with the onsite <br /> EMT initiating first-aid and necessary follow-upas stated above. <br /> If the injury increases the risk of danger to other site personnel, the <br /> designated emergency signal Short-Shor*-4hort Horn Sleet shall be <br /> sounded and all site personnel shall move to the decontamination line <br /> for further instructions. Activities shall stop until the added risk is <br /> removed or minimized. <br /> 3. Fire Explosion: <br /> Upon notification of a fire or explosion on-site, the designated <br /> emergency signal Shor+-Rhoy+--Short Horn Slee* shall be sounded and <br /> all site personnel shall exit the Exclusion Zone as quickly as possible. <br /> Decontamination procedures are secondary and not as important as <br /> protecting the lives of all persons in the Exclusion Zone. Employees may <br /> decontaminate only if it is safe to do so. All Persons shall <br /> the Command Post. Employees meet at <br /> will be provided decontamination equipment <br /> at the command post as soon as possible. <br /> The fire department shall be alerted and all personnel shall move to the <br /> designated safe area (Command Post) . <br /> 4. Earthquake <br /> In the event of an earthquake, get to a stable area. If possible, exit <br /> the Exclusion Zone immediately. Meet at Command Post. <br /> 5. Personnel Protective Equipment Failure: <br /> If any site worker experiences a failure or alteration of protective <br /> equipment that affects the protection factor, that person and his/her <br /> buddy shall immediately leave the Exclusion Zone.
