17 . Before starting power equipment, be sure that no one will <br /> be endangered by moving parts . <br /> 18 . Do not look at a welding arc when welding is being <br /> conducted near you. <br /> 29 . Never use matches to ignite cutting torches . Use a spark <br /> lighter or pilot light provided. <br /> 30 . Clothing which is oily or with open pockets or cuffs must <br /> zot be worn during welding. <br /> 3� . hake sure welding area is well ventilated and never use <br /> oxygen for ventilation. <br /> 32 . Before welding, cutting, or brazing operations, determine <br /> the location of the nearest fire extinguisher. <br /> 33 . Sparks, hot metal and slag must not be allowed to fall on <br /> combustible materials . <br />
