ARCO 55ev <br /> Partial Facility Ucmolihon Rid <br /> K. II'hc Contractor shall coordinate the removal of the tanks with the ARCO Environmental <br /> 1[ngincel (Paul Supple). Mr. Supple will provide the Contractor with ARCO's state <br /> generator identification number for hazardous waste and the facility's EPA identification <br /> number finer to tank removal. The Contractor will not make any plans to remove the <br /> tanks and product lines until this activity bas been coordinated with ARCO's <br /> Environmental Consultant(Delta). The Environmental Consultant will provide soil and <br /> water sampling ,and air monitoring services, if necessary. The Contractor will not be <br /> responsible for the removal of any contaminated soil. <br /> L. The tanks will be pumped out prior to removal. Contractor is responsible for the residual <br /> amounts of product from the tanks and any liquids generated from the flushing of product <br /> lines. Tanks shall be prepared for removal per local,state and federal regulations. <br /> M. Site asphalt is to remain. Contractor is to patch paving to match surrounding area in <br /> areas where excavation has removed or damaged existing or previously existing concrete <br /> or asphalt. Asphalt and concrete thickness will be dependent on applicable building <br /> regulations. <br /> N. The canopy supports,canopy,canopy footings, and pump islands are to be removed. <br /> O. Contractor will receive an additional supplemental contract to perform overexcavation <br /> and other environmental work which will be defined prior to the commencement of ti-as <br /> scope of work. <br /> P. The Contractor is responsible for the security of the site during working and non-working <br /> hours for the entire construction period. <br /> Q. All construction materials provided by the Contractor shall be warranted for a period of <br /> one year from the date of acceptance by ARCO. <br /> R. Your price quote to complete this scope of work is to be faxed to Robin Kirby of <br /> ARCO no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, June 29, 2001.
