T <br />ONi <br />Fiberglass Isolation Riser <br />The fiberglass isolation riser provides a non -corrod- <br />ing access from the street box down to the top of <br />the tank. Since the bottom is open, the riser will fill <br />with water if water surrounds the outside of the <br />riser. This riser is available in lengths up to 6 feet in <br />height. Use of only one riser will be permitted on <br />sizes 600 thru <br />Maxi gallons. O <br />Maximum use <br />of two risers <br />Will only be <br />allowed on .......................... <br />4,000 - 6' dia. <br />or 6,000 - 8' dia. <br />or larger tanks. <br />[ Fiberglass Fill Tube <br />E10 <br />Fill tubes are screwed into <br />rhn hnttnm of tha F," r 4" <br />Tank Ladders <br />FRP, aluminum or carbon <br />steel ladders are <br />attached at the <br />tank bottom <br />by FRP mounts <br />and restrained <br />at the top by <br />an FRP bracket. <br />This allows the <br />ladder to slide <br />freely to com- <br />pensate for tank <br />expansion <br />or contraction. <br />(Manway and ladc <br />are sold separately.) <br />OHelical Heating Coils <br />For highly viscous products such as #6 heating oil, <br />helical heating coils are available. Attached to a <br />heavy-duty, epoxy -painted, carbon -steel 22" I.D. <br />manway cover, the 1 1/4" schedule 40 carbon - <br />steel heating coil is installed to leave 9" clearance <br />from the bottom of the tank. <br />O <br />SUction and return couplings, <br />not included with the <br />heating coil, car <br />installed in the <br />manway lid. <br />Coil area for <br />heat calcula- <br />tions is 20.6 <br />square feet. <br />A heating coil <br />can also be <br />centered on <br />30" and 36" <br />manway covers. <br />The heating coil <br />shipped separat <br />For a detail drawing <br />on the heating coil, <br />please contact your <br />local Xerxes representative. <br />Lifting Lugs <br />Each tank provided with a minimum of one lifting <br />lug. <br />OFiberglass Holddown Straps <br />Straps are used when a tank requires anchoring. <br />The straps provide the link between the tank and <br />the owner -supplied anchoring hardware. For <br />more information on straps and their use, refer to <br />the current Xerxes Installation Manual. <br />13 <br />
