I- Site History <br /> The site is located at 5151 Pacific Avenue in Stockton, <br /> California (Figure 1) . <br /> 3oj get Desar%Lt� <br /> The goal of this project is the removal of three underground <br /> tanks and associated plumbing at the site. For a detailed <br /> outline of the procedures involved, refer to the Scope of Werk. <br /> The tanks will be partially excavated to allow for evacuation of <br /> any contents, multiply: rinsings, and removal of the rinsate <br /> solution. The tank vapors will then be purged, and the soils <br /> around the tanks will be excavated to allow for tank removal. <br /> The tanks will be loaded on a truck for disposal off the site at <br /> a predesignated and documented location. Following removal, of <br /> the tanks, soil samples will be collected from the soils under <br /> the tank invert for Chemical analysis by a State-certified <br /> chemical testing laboratory. Sails excavated from the tank <br /> vicinity will be stockpiled can the site and covered with visqueen <br /> pending receipt of chemical test results. <br /> Personnel will be on the site monitoring organic vapor levels in <br /> the work space. Data from the monitoring program and other <br /> observations (scail odors, coloration, moisture, etc. ) will be <br /> recorded. <br />
