—Advanced Interconnect Technologies <br />Emergency Response Plan <br />Page 7 <br />6. Hazardous Material Spill/Release Response Procedure <br />6.1. The most current facility Hazardous Materials Management Plan (HMMP) <br />is included in this Emergency Response Plan as Appendix A. Sections of <br />the HMMP are referenced where appropriate. <br />6.2. The HMMP contains an inventory of all hazardous materials stored onsite <br />above the state trigger thresholds of 500 pounds of solid, 55 gallons of <br />liquid and 200 cubic feet of compressed gas. The map number and grid <br />location of these chemicals within the facility are shown at the top of each <br />chemical form (Appendix A). <br />6.3. The individual(s) discovering a hazardous material spill/release or <br />impending spill/release should: <br />6.3.1. Immediately determine if anyone is injured or in immediate danger. <br />DO NOT under any circumstances enter the area of the spill or <br />release. <br />6.3.2. Report spill and request appropriate assistance by dialing 9-824- <br />1166 on the nearest telephone. Provide the following information <br />to the individual answering: <br />• Your name; <br />• the exact location and nature of the spill; <br />• whether anyone is injured. <br />NOTE: During after hours (before 8:00 am and after 5.00 pm) contact Gerry <br />Ramirez (Primary ERC) to report a spill or release. If unavailable contact <br />Chris Colbert (Secondary ERC). Contact info. is listed in Appendix A. <br />6.3.3. If feasible, advise your Supervisor of the situation. If necessary, <br />evacuate the area. <br />♦ No employee should attempt to cleanup a chemical spill without <br />adequate training and proper personal protective equipment. <br />6.4. The emergency phone rings on three different extensions simultaneously: <br />6.4.1. The person answering is responsible for recording pertinent <br />emergency information and immediately communicating it to the on <br />duty facility ERC. <br />6.4.2. Once the ERC has been contacted, this individual is further <br />responsible for alerting ERT members to assemble at the <br />
