—Advanced Interconnect Technologies Emergency Response Plan Page 7 6. Hazardous Material Spill/Release Response Procedure 6.1. The most current facility Hazardous Materials Management Plan (HMMP) is included in this Emergency Response Plan as Appendix A. Sections of the HMMP are referenced where appropriate. 6.2. The HMMP contains an inventory of all hazardous materials stored onsite above the state trigger thresholds of 500 pounds of solid, 55 gallons of liquid and 200 cubic feet of compressed gas. The map number and grid location of these chemicals within the facility are shown at the top of each chemical form (Appendix A). 6.3. The individual(s) discovering a hazardous material spill/release or impending spill/release should: 6.3.1. Immediately determine if anyone is injured or in immediate danger. DO NOT under any circumstances enter the area of the spill or release. 6.3.2. Report spill and request appropriate assistance by dialing 9-824- 1166 on the nearest telephone. Provide the following information to the individual answering: • Your name; • the exact location and nature of the spill; • whether anyone is injured. NOTE: During after hours (before 8:00 am and after 5.00 pm) contact Gerry Ramirez (Primary ERC) to report a spill or release. If unavailable contact Chris Colbert (Secondary ERC). Contact info. is listed in Appendix A. 6.3.3. If feasible, advise your Supervisor of the situation. If necessary, evacuate the area. ♦ No employee should attempt to cleanup a chemical spill without adequate training and proper personal protective equipment. 6.4. The emergency phone rings on three different extensions simultaneously: 6.4.1. The person answering is responsible for recording pertinent emergency information and immediately communicating it to the on duty facility ERC. 6.4.2.
