Mr. Thomas began his career with the IT Corp in 1982, serving 10 years as an <br /> emergency responder, a "Class A" Hazardous Waste Hauler, and a lead environmental waste <br /> technologist. Mr. Thomas obtained a certificate in hazardous materials management from the <br /> University of California at Davis, subsequent to which he provided technical and managerial <br /> support to the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory's Environmental Protection <br /> Department in multiple capacities (e.g., lab pack operations supervisor; medical waste subject <br /> matter expert; and permits and regulatory affairs environmental analyst).
